Ever since the first adjudicating experience in 1998, I have enjoyed working with young musicians across Canada and the United States. It is a privilege to empower, encourage and motivate young musicians to develop musicianship and realize full artistic potential. I always look forward to serving music festivals.

Edward Turgeon has served as senior Examiner for the Royal Conservatory of Music since 1990, and adjudicator for festivals and competitions throughout North America and Europe. He has appeared at the Concergebouw of Amsterdam, Carnegie Hall and Yong Siew Toh Concert Hall to name a few, and recorded for Marquis and Vanguard Classics. He had won prizes in several international competitions. Through undergraduate and graduate training, Turgeon’s teachers included Peter Frankl, Janes Anagnoson and Karl Ulrich Schnabel. He currently serves as Associate Professor, Artist in Residence and Chair of Music and Visual Art at Algoma University.
