As a professional music educator and woodwind performer, I firmly believe in the educational value of our music festivals. My approach is to focus on the efforts and results of each performer, rather than deal in generalities, with a goal of both affirming the efforts of our young musicians and motivating them to move forward with individual and constructive suggestions. I particularly welcome the opportunity to workshop with the students if that is part your festival structure.
